However, home plants require too much attention and care. Air Plants can grow in less water, but not in too much dry surface.
How to Care Air Plants?
They are different from other house plants, so you need to give a different kind of care. Firstly, you have to know what to do for their growing, later on, you will notice that these plants require less attention as compared to other houseplants.
Follow some instructions for Air Plant Care:
Air:
You have to provide a proper atmosphere to these plants as the other plants. There is no need for fans but don’t seal them in a closed place. You have to put the plants at the place where fresh air can circulate the plants.
Water:
It is not possible for these plants to grow in soil. They need moisture through their leaves. The gardener recommends that you should spray on them a few times a week. The reason is that these plants will die if you don’t spray.
You should give water to them as the requirements of the plants. Moreover, you should soak them after a week in Summer, but in the winter, you have to soak them 2 or 3 times a week. You should use water to soak them like rainwater.
It looks the most beautiful when you soak the plants. You have to allow the plants for 24 hours to evaporate the used water. Remove them from the bowls, shells or anything which you use to put them and take a bath your plants.
Put the plants in the water for taking a bath. Catch the plants after an hour and give them a good shake and remove all the water drops. Now, put the plants again at their places and enjoy their beauties for a few days even they need a bath still.
Types of Water
Before using the water, you should understand what kind of water is perfect for plants. Don’t use distilled water, and softened water is also not suitable for plants. You can use bottled water and tap water.
If you put the plants in the hot room window, then it is necessary to spray the water by time. If you want to put these plants in the room windows, then there should be a fan. Water should not stand in the bowls or shells because air plants don’t live in the water.
Light:
Light also plays an essential role in the growth of the same as air and water. You have to need a sunny window or those places where the Sunlight does not target directly to plants. Sunlight is necessary for plants, but not to burn them.
Temperature:
You should put the plants in 50 to 90 degrees. If the day is warm up more, then put in for 40 degrees. Due to increases in temperature, Tillandsia will die. You should grow up the plants very carefully.
Removing Air Plants Pups:
You can remove the pups from the mother plants at least 1/2 or 1/3 sized. For this purpose, catch the mother plant carefully and hold the pups gently and pull it downward.
If you are feeling a problem to do as then, you can cut the pups downward as close to the mother as possible. The mother plant will continue to produce pups again after some time.

Tillandsia flowers are bloom only one time in their life. Mother plants creating a pups or baby plants when they are near to mature. After producing the baby plants, the mother dies off, and baby plants will grow and convert into a mature plant.
